Golden Valley Engineering is a total team effort, all ten
members working together to create a final product that meets
and exceeds the expectations of their clients. Owners, Duane
Andrews, Jim Xu and Bob Granata have worked in the greater
Merced area for a number of years. On May 1, 1998 the team
was formed and Golden Valley Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
was created. Our team consists of experts in the fields of
land surveying, computer assisted design, field surveying
and civil/structural engineering. Our company specializes
in building designs, subdivision development and all forms
of surveying and engineering.
Duane Andrews has 45 years of experience and is the public
relations person for the firm. Duane has served on the Board
of the Building Industries Association and remains a very
active participant in the BIA. Jim Xu has over 15 years of
experience as a civil/structural engineer and is an ICBO Certified
Plan Examiner, Building Inspector and Concrete and Masonry
Inspector. Bob Granata has over 15 years as a Chief Land Surveyor
and has a degree in Physical Science.
We are a FULL SERVICE Engineering and Surveying firm capable
of handling nearly all aspects of work you may propose. In
area’s where we feel uncomfortable, we hire outside
consultants, such as electrical, mechanical and aerial photomapping.
